The report for Sept. 28. 1. The striper bite at Lake Skinner is sizzling with a lot of fish showing at the inlet and off the main lake points with some surface action early in the day. Fish to 6-0 are the norm, but stripers to 15-0 have been reported each of the past couple of week.

The report for Sept. 7. 1. The Lake Skinner striper bite is wide open. The fish are up on top morning and evening and ripping surface lures or near-surface jerk baits. While most of the fish are 2 1/2 to 4 pounds, there have been bigger fish to 13 pounds reported in the past week.
